Hiring an event photographer might be completely new to you, but don’t worry I’m very friendly and always happy to help. With me you’ll be in experienced hands, and I have the technical skills and dedication to take care of your event photography from start to finish. So you can relax and enjoy your party.

We can begin with a phone call or email, and make a plan for what you’d like from your events photography. Later, your digital images will be available for download from a private online gallery, with options for prints, frames and albums.

How do I get started?

To begin with, let me know the basic details of your event, such as the date, location and timings. Then I’ll provide you with some options.

You might not know how long you’ll need photography coverage for, or whether you’ll want prints or an album. We can talk through details like these before booking, so that you’re completely satisfied with what you’re getting.   


How does it go on the day of my event?

You can relax and enjoy your party. I’ll arrive at your event about 15 minutes early, say hello, and get to work.

I like to make pictures in an observed and non-intrusive way. So I tend not to ask people to pose too much, preferring to blend in to the crowd and capture the event in a very natural way. This produces photographs which reflect how events really felt, rather than a series of awkward poses. 


What about after my event?

I get to work on your pictures. In the days after your event, I’ll have all of your pictures edited and processed so that every image looks great and just as you remember it. You’ll then have access to a private online gallery, with all of your pictures, which you can share with your guests.

Then simply download your images to a safe place, and select any you want me to print. 


Albums and prints

Your favourite photographs shouldn’t just be locked away on a hard drive, never to be seen again! Having beautifully printed and framed pictures, or a nicely printed book is the best way to do them justice. Seeing your pictures on a screen is convenient, but having something physical is so much more special. So just select which pictures are your favourites and I’ll do the rest.


FAQ's

How do I book?

Feel free to give me a call or send me an email. You can tell me a bit about your event and we’ll work out a package for you. Then there is a small deposit to pay, I’ll reserve the date in my diary, and we’re all set!

Can I share the gallery with my guests?

Of course! And anyone with access to the gallery will be able to download the photos too, and order prints or an album.

How many pictures do I get?

Depending on the particulars of your event, I usually deliver 50-80 pictures for every hour that I’m with you. Every photograph will be delivered to your online gallery, and available for download.

Can I have my photos in black and white?

Yes, some photos actually suit black and white better than colour. My advice is to have a mixture of the two, and I’ll be happy to make an assessment of each image and make the choice for you. 

Should I buy an album from you?

This is really up to you, but I’d recommend it. For an important event like a birthday, a beautiful book with your best photos is a great thing to have. You just need to choose which photos to include and I’ll do the rest. Its really easy!

When will I get my photos?

You’ll usually have your pictures uploaded to your private online gallery within 3-5 days. If you’re ordering prints or an album, the turnaround is more like 1-2 weeks, sometimes a little longer for an album.


Prices

The obvious question is how much does some great photography for your fantastic event cost? My pricing structure is very simple and starts at £125 for the first 2hrs, and £40 per hour thereafter. Print and album options are a bit more varied so lets discuss that when we go over the particulars of your event.
